This morning Lt. Daughton, Foreman Bennett and FF/EMT Recine paid a special visit to the Hillcrest School joining the students for Read Across America Day.

The firefighters read The Cat and the Hat, Gerald McBoing Boing and One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish to the children in attendance. Lt. Daughton also took time to review some fire safety & prevention tips with the kids to make sure they stayed sharp. At the end of the day, some of the 3rd Graders were given a chance to tour Engine 278 with Foreman Bennett and FF/EMT Recine.
