CAR FIRE HAMILTON STREET

Thursday night at 2306 hours,District 3 was dispatched to 1230 Hamilton Street for a MV fire. Engine 272 arrived first with the midnight duty crew, with Lt. Latanzio in command reporting a fully involved car with possible extension to a 53 foot trailer. The crew pulled a 1 3/4 foam line and started to attack the fire. Car 27 arrived and assumed Command. Engine 27 arrived and pulled a second hand line off of Engine 272 to knock down the tires burning on the trailer. Engine 253 assisted with opening the hood. Ladder 27 arrived and assisted with overhaul. The scene was turned over to FTFP and FTPD for investigation. Units on scene were Car 27, Car 272, Car 274, Engine 27, Engine 272, Ladder 27 and Engine 253.
