CHESTER AVE CAR FIRE

A minute before midnight on April 4th District 3 was alerted for a car fire on Chester Avenue. Engine 274 was first due stretching one 1-34quot pre-connect to extinguish the 1999 Acura that was well involved. The vehicle became stuck in the rain saturated field while attempting to turn around on the dead end street. Engine 4s crew consisted of Driver Lt. Brown Captain Wilson Firefighter Gaither and Probationary Firefighter Shannon Chief Krushinski 27A had command and units cleared up in approximately 40 minutes.
