EFFD responds to 3rd Alarm Assignment in Piscataway Twp.

On November 12th, 2023 at approximately 2300 hrs. East Franklin Fire Department responded to Piscataway Twp. District #1 at 122 Forest Drive, for a 3rd alarm Structure Fire.

Squad 27 and Car 27 responded as the RIT, but were repurposed upon arrival to man attack lines. Numerous buildings became well involved and multiple aerial master streams were placed in service along with the hand lines to try and keep the fire under control. Additional responding units from Station 27 were Car 273, Car 274 & Utility 27. EFFD spent several hours on scene assisting Piscataway, along with multiple other responding mutual aid agencies.
