On 11-28-23, Fire District 3 was dispatched to 60 Roberts Road for the report of a dryer fire in the basement.
While enroute Car 27 requested Station 56 for a RIC to the scene. Car 27 arrived and reported smoke showing from the building and requested one engine and one ladder from New Brunswick. Car 25 arrived and was operations, Ladder 27Β arrived on scene and stretched a 1.75 hand line into side of the house. Ladder 25 arrived and they did a primary search and checked for extension above the fire floor and assisted in overhaul.
The fire was quickly brought under control and held to Car 27, Car 273, Car 274, Ladder 27, Car 25, Ladder 25, Engine 561 and NBFD E-5. The scene was turned over to Franklin Fire Prevention.
