Sunday Night Duty Crew takes in MV Fire on Veronica Avenue

On Sunday Night, October 22nd, 2023, at approximately 22:33 hours, Fire District #3 was dispatched to the area of 30 Veronica Ave, for a motor vehicle fire.

Car 27 arrived, established command and reported a fully involved vehicle with no exposure, with the occupants out of the car. The 4 members assigned to the Sunday night Duty Crew responded on Engine 272 arrived, deploying the front bumper line to extinguish the fire. Engine 253 arrived and supplied additional water to E-272 to assist them to completely extinguish the smoldering remains.

The driver reported that he was having electrical issues with the car the last few days before this incident. Additional units on scene were Car 272, Car 273, Car 274, and Car 25.

All units operated on scene for approximately 1 hour. Video was captured by Chief 310 of North Brunswick FD.
